VALEURS SÛRES

By Pierre Amadieu

La Gravinière - OAC Tavel rosé

bouteille

A subtle blending mingles the power and the roundness of Grenache grape with the aromatic richness of Syrah as well as an unexpected depth of Cinsault.

The wine-making process starts with a short period in vat before pressing. It provides to this wine its sweet pink color. All its brilliance and its balance will be developed during the fermentation under controlled temperature (16-17°C).

A raspberry robe alive with amber hues brings out floral and fruity fragrances soon followed by mellower scents of slightly candied fruits, delicately seasoned with spicy notes. This exceptional rosé wine offers great balance in mouth and associates a great finesse with a beautiful freshness. As it gets older, aromas will become spicy and the colour amber. A very typical wine from Tavel.

From its second year of maturation on, it will match various dishes, served very cool (10°C). It will accompany beautiful dishes of the south of France (tapenade, ratatouille, anchoïade), exotic cuisine and white meat or shellfish.
