Gigondas Romane Machotte white 2023

The 2023 Gigondas Romane Machotte Blanc is based largely on Clairette (70%) yet includes smaller amounts of Viognier, Marsanne, and Roussanne. It’s a richer white offering plenty of stone fruits, minty flowers, and crushed stone/chalky notes as well a medium-bodied, nicely textured profile on the palate. It’s nicely balanced and has solid mid-palate depth and concentration, as well as outstanding length.
