A blend of 70% Clairette, 5% Viognier and the rest a combination of Marsanne and Roussanne, the 2023 Romane Machotte Blanc offers up aromas of spices, herbs, apricot, honeysuckle and spring flowers. Medium to full-bodied, round and enrobing, it’s sappy with delicate, elegant notes of butter and walnuts, framed around a juicy, precise mid-palate and a long, fresh finish.
