The 2023 Gigondas Romane Machotte is based on 70% Grenache, 15% Syrah, and 15% Cinsault and was aged 12 months in foudre and barrels. Juicy berry fruits, Provençal spices, pepper, and sandalwood all emerge from this medium-bodied, fruit-forward, delicious effort. It has forward charm yet brings ripe tannins and a good finish.
