Gigondas ros\u00e9<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Although it is a very small production in the Gigondas appellation because it represents only 1% of the total production, this ros\u00e9 deserves the greatest interest because its terroir gives it a real originality.<\/p>\n

On the northern slopes of our hills, the grapes of our Gigondas ros\u00e9 are generally harvested a little earlier than those of red wines and earlier in the morning to preserve all its freshness. It is vinified and then aged in barrels, and stirred for 4 months, which gives it enough depth and texture to accompany a good meal.<\/p>\n

Pierre and Jean-Marie Amadieu, who are in charge of vinification, have adapted our vinification techniques to give our ros\u00e9s ever more liveliness and fruitiness.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

This is the only Cru of Rh\u00f4ne Valley wines to produce exclusively ros\u00e9 wines. The Tavel vineyard is located on the right bank of the Rh\u00f4ne, its terroir is made up of three types of light and filtering geological limestone formations: fluvial and gravelly sands, rolled pebbles and lauzes. Combined with the Mediterranean climate, these characteristics offer a complex and harmonious wine. Here you will not find light ros\u00e9 wines, but a structured wine that can be drunk all year round. It can be enjoyed in its early youth, but also from old vintages.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Located on the foothills of Mont Ventoux, the “G\u00e9ant de Provence” culminating at 1912 metres, the C\u00f4tes du Ventoux vineyard enjoys a good amount of sunshine. The hillside soils benefit from a sandy-sandstone soil of Miocene limestone, with on the surface, characteristic alluvium from Mont Ventoux.
