The 2016 Gigondas Domaine Grand Romane is 65% Grenache, 20% Mourvèdre and the rest Syrah, brought up 18 months in 30% new barrels and the balance in foudre. Garrigue, sweet red fruits, crushed flowers, and white pepper notes all give way to a charming, balanced, impeccably made 2016 that will drink well for 6-7 years.
