2015 Gigondas Domaine Grand Romane 89-92/100
Another beautiful wine from this large estate is the 2015 Gigondas Domaine Grande Romane, which is 65% Grenache, 20% Mourvèdre and the rest Syrah. Coming from higher elevation parcels and brought up in a mix of used and new barrels, it offers tons of peppery herbs, lavender, blackcurrants and spice aromatics. Medium to full-bodied, round, textured and balanced, it’s a rock solid Gigondas to drink over the coming 7-9 years.

2015 Gigondas Romane Machotte 87-90/100

2015 Vacqueyras La Grangelière 2015 89-91/100

2015 Saint Joseph Les Capelets 89-92/100
The inky purple-colored 2015 Saint Joseph les Capelets from this larger Gigondas negociant was brought up in a mix of two-year-old barrels and larger oak casks. It has a beautiful, fruit forward and medium to full-bodied style to go with classic notes of crushed violets, smoked earth and ample black and blue fruits. It’s a downright classy, elegant, seamless beauty that will shine with a few years of bottle age.
