Decanter Côtes du Rhône Domaine Grand Romane 2020

Taking on a little hazelnut from the oak, it works well with the dried orange peel notes. Full-bodied, rich and silky from the barrel ageing. Lovely sense of freshness, with a subtle bitter nip on the finish. Very classic expression of oak-aged, hot-climate Clairette. Harmonious and drinking well now. 50-year-old vines grown at 400m near Gigondas.
