The Wine Advocate Gigondas Romane Machotte rosé 2015

The smokin’ good 2015 Gigondas Romane Machotte Rose from Pierre Amadieu checks in a direct press and partial saignee blend of 60% Grenache, 25% Cinsault and 15% Syrah that was raised all in stainless steel. Its light salmon/pink color is followed by terrific salty minerality to go with plenty of spice, currants and herbes de Provence-like aromas and flavors. Deliciously fresh and lively on the palate, yet still with texture, it’s a beautiful Rosé to drink over the coming summer.
