The Wine Advocate Vinsobres Les Piallats 2015

An ambitious, oaky bottling, the 2015 Vinsobres Les Piallats from Pierre Amadieu is inky in color and loaded with cedar and vanilla aromas. It’s rich, full-bodied and velvety in texture, but the black cherry fruit is largely submerged under a heap of lumber. No doubt it will have broad appeal.
