Fermented in barrel, then aged on lees with lees stirring for 2 months. A fruitier, more citrussy style than most, met with a gentle but enticing vein of spice. Full-bodied, but not gloopy but fairly thick in texture. Well balanced, with a lovely fresh, fruity, satsuma acidity running through it. Good length of fruit on the finish. Well balanced, uncomplicated, well made, true to Cairanne.
