Muscat de Beaumes-de-Venise

Pierre Amadieu

Terroir

This natural sweet wine is made of Muscat Petits Grains, harvested from vines that are more than 80 years old and situated in some of the best terroir of Beaumes de Venise.

Winemaking

Harvesting starts when the grapes begin to golden but still keep a delicate freshness. The grapes, selected by hand, are pressed after a short skin maceration. The juice is vinified at low temperature for the optimum expression of the wonderful Muscat aromas.

Tasting notes

A pale golden colour, it is satisfyingly full-bodied yet lively on the palate, intense floral aromas of Muscat mingling with fragrant notes of litchi, mango, pear and almonds. The lingering finish is well-balanced and pleasantly fresh.
