Our work as a winemaker is at its peak with the harvest in progress. In the cellar as well as in the vineyards, the teams are busy. A great potential is in the offing. The summer months have remained hot and dry. But the vines did not suffer from too much water stress because the nights were relatively cool and the water reserves were sufficient.
We give you the first characteristics of this new vintage.
A busy summer
This summer, in spite of the special circumstances, we have proposed different wine tourism activities resolutely turned towards the culture and history of our beautiful village of Gigondas. In total, 8 cultural visits of the village and 3 tasting workshops placed under the sign of conviviality, in the respect of the sanitary instructions. We warmly thank all the participants.

It's coming up for sale: discover the 2018 vintage!
The 2018 vintage is characterized by a rainy spring, although this was less marked in the Gigondas high altitude vineyards. The end of the season was radiant and allows us today to taste supple and delicious red wines, with melted tannins thanks to the beautiful maturity of the grapes.
Back to the classical packaging for our Gigondas Romane Machotte 2018
As we had announced, after a busy year in festivities for the 90 years of the domain, the vintage 2018 marks the return to the classic packaging of our Gigondas Romane Machotte, which finds its white label. Reception of the Club Ferrari France in Romane
We had the pleasure to welcome the Club Ferrari France in our vineyard on Sunday, September 13th. About fifty beautiful cars took the winding road up to Romane and their passengers were able to enjoy a moment of conviviality around the wines of Domaine Grand Romane, in moderation, of course!

Fascinant Weekend Vignobles et Découvertes
From October 15 to 18, we will participate in the Fascinating Weekend organized by the label Vignobles et Découvertes on the destination “Around the Dentelles de Montmirail”.
A cultural visit of the village and a tasting workshop are planned on Friday, October 16th.
Salon des Vignerons Indépendants de France
We have just learned that the Salon des Vignerons Indépendants de Lyon has been cancelled following the measures taken by the Rhône prefecture. We hope that the sanitary situation will evolve favourably so that we can meet you on the trade fairs of :
– Lille : from 20 to 23 November 2020 – Stand C34
– Paris: December 3 to 7, 2020
– Strasbourg : from February 12 to 15, 2021
